Sebastian
Sebastian is a 6 year old, 13 pound rat terrier mix, likely about half italian greyhound. He is a high energy boy that does have an off switch, but he's always ready for an adventure! To learn about adoption and apply, please visit NewRattitude.org.
4 Sebastian likes to watch out the window for any signs of movement (squirrel, bird, human, etc), then give a few barks to let us know about it.
5 While Seb rests during the day, he really checks out after the sun goes down, and enjoys laps/legs for a cuddle.
6 Off leash fenced areas have been good for controlled meetings with other dogs. He loves other dogs of a similar energy level, but may prefer to chase birds outside, rather than play. He's very athletic and loves sprinting.
7 Even big dogs are interesting if they have low energy like this "grandpa" dog we met at the park.
8 Sebastian is pretty good at waiting when there aren't too many distractions nearby. He loves long walks and time outside.
9 A preferred location atop blankets to wait for the humans to finish working at home. If he gets impatient, there might be some barking to get your attention.
10 Outside time is the best, especially in the warm sun. The patio plants need a little fence because Sebastian likes to taste them all!
11 Balls are super fun for play because they bounce and move in a way that makes Seb very excited- even to play by himself sometimes. If it has a squeaker, that's a fun bonus.
12 Sebastian needs a way to slow down eating as he virtually inhales his food, so he's been trying out this snuffle mat for some meals. He may get frustrated when he can't get all the kibble out as fast as he wants, and it's a good mental stimulation too.
13 Silly boy piling on more pillows with a favorite toy. He always chews on an appropriate item like chew stick or toy, and not any furniture.
14 Another chair, another pillow to sit on. This time with a new natural horn treasure he can carry around and hide from the other dog in the house.
If I were closer I would inquire, however, I am in New Orleans, he reminds me of another dog I used to have named Davanci. He was a seal and whie color Italian Greyhound. Beautiful dogs! - Karen Bitter, Tue, 20 Jun 2023 7:38AM
