Rocky was very stressed at the shelter, and he was doing worse each day. Can you see the tension in his lips? He wanted someone to rescue him from that place.
He looked at his new foster mom with great hope and expectation.
When he arrived at his foster home, he found that there were toys and a choice of beds waiting for him.
But he felt most comfortable wrapped around the neck of his foster mom, who had engineered his "escape" from the shelter.
Rocky LOVES to eat, so he's highly motivated to learn for a bit of food in return.
Rocky loves soft quilts and blankets and just about anything where his human is nearby.
Rocky is always ready for a walk.
Rocky likes to bark when he hears the resident cat meow, so we tried a happy hoodie to help him stay calm.
It worked! He lay down and took a nap! But soon his stubborn ears had worked their way out.
Rocky does have a mighty bark! And he'll use it with friends and loved ones. He would make an awesome alarm dog!
Rocky's experience behind bars at the shelter has made him fearful of a crate, but he is learning to overcome that fear. Here, he chose to go there on his own to take a nap.
Rocky But most afternoons, he loves to chill on the couch between his canine foster brother and human foster mom.
That is the best movie ever! You are incredibly talented! Good lunch with Rocky. If I lived closer I'd take him in a heartbeat. Our little Rat boy passed earlier this year @14yrs. He was completely blind fromm PLL since 2yrs and had the exact same bark.It brought happy tears to my eyes when I heard Rocky. Roper barked a lot for not seeing. But he was a happy boy and loved us all a lot! Again, great job. Rocky's lucky to have you in his corner!
