"Little" Bo at 11 months old is just a puppy...
...but he is a BIG puppy! Bo currently weighs about 18 lbs., some of which is puppy fat, but he is still on the large end of the scale for a rat terrier and may have some Decker genes in his pedigree.
Bo is a diamond in the rough...
Although he has received lots of love and good care throughout his puppyhood...
...his elderly owners have been a bit overwhelmed with his size and energy level...
...so his training and social skills could use some polishing.
Bo is cuddly and affectionate with the people he loves, but can react defensively with strangers.
Bo is an energetic and highly intelligent fellow in need of a home with lots of opportunities for exercise and interactive activities.
Download MOV 9 His most unique talent is his singing ability. The minute he hears a Norma Zimmer recording, he drops everything to sing along. He puts on quite a performance!
Bo is acutely alert to his surroundings and is an excellent watchdog. He’s very sensitive and insatiably curious. He doesn’t miss a thing and needs to know exactly what’s going on around him.
At rest, he’s a cuddly lap dog and loves a good nap snuggled close to his mom or dad.
He’s a sweet and affectionate boy most of the time. At night, he’s perfectly happy to retire to his crate.
Bo would love nothing better than to have someone teach him skills that would take advantage of his talents and athletic abilities. He’s always looking for a challenge, and he’s always up for the task.
would like to meet Bo. I just had to put my mini dachshund down. We have a rottie/boxer mix who got along great with his little brother. - Alex J Sandor, Tue, 14 Jan 2020 7:56AM
