Pip has just been sprung from the shelter and is on his way to his new foster home.  Pip, Pip, hooray!

Pip was very sick when he first came into foster care, but as badly as he felt you can see the relief and gratitude on his face that he's leaving the shelter far behind.

Pip loves to snuggle under his fleece blanket - make that ANY fleece blanket.

In his first few weeks in foster care, Pip slept a lot.  He was greatly overweight, had a bad case of pneumonia, and he was missing the person he'd lost, so he stayed pretty quiet.

As his lungs began to clear and he started to feel better, Pip just blossomed and showed his loving nature.  He is completely in love with his person.

Pip gets along fine with other dogs. Here he is curled up next to foster sis.  He really likes having company in whatever he is doing.

As he loses weight, Pip's active side is also coming out.  He loves his walks and playing in the yard.  Here he's playing with a visiting rattie he's just met - he's full of energy but gentle. The two of them got to be good buds.  Pip is wearing the red collar.

He is also playing with toys and destuffing them like a good rattie should!

What's that?  It's a bird!  It's a squirrel!  It's a deer! It's time to show who's in charge of this yard!

After all that scouting and chasing, Pip still likes his naps.

And the best place to curl up is on your lap.  He will cuddle right next to you once you sit down.

You are my one and only . . . .

Pip slept in a crate when he first came into foster care but he loves his bed and blankie.  He stays put all through the night.  He is SUCH a good boy!

Pip keeps an eye on things and is watching out for his new family!  Please don't keep him waiting too long!
