1 This little darlin’ is Dixie, 10 lbs of love, curiosity, and fun.
2 She’s very interactive and loves to communicate with her person. What are you doing now? Is it time for our walk yet? How about a treat? May I sit next to you on the couch? Remember me?
3 She keeps an eye out and follows foster mom around. There's always the chance for a treat!
4 She’s a sociable little girl and gets along nicely with all her foster siblings - male . . . .
5 . . . and female.
6 She’s a snuggler and loves to perch in her favorite spot and watch the world go by.
7 Playing in the yard is the best.
8 She checks everything out.
9 And then checks it again. After all, who knows what wonderful surprises might be out there?
10 I’ve already checked that spot out!
11 in between time in the yard, she likes to go for walks. As you can see in this short clip, she's really well-behaved on leash. Hit the download button!
12 Dixie also really likes lying outside in the sun. Foster mom keeps an eye out to make sure she doesn’t stay out too long - it’s hot out there!
13 Time to go back inside where there are treats waiting! Or so they think!
14 Dixie loves to play with toys. Here she's found a nylabone and made herself comfortable with it on the bed.
15 This toy's almost as big as she is but she's been having fun shaking it and carrying it from room to room.
16 Life is good!
17 Here she is playing with her little brother. The two of them are having fun, with a few nuzzles thrown in for good measure. From what we know, Dixie has always had a canine companion, so we think she will be happiest with at least one other pup for company. Hit download to see the video.
18 The others may be asleep on the job but Dixie keeps an eye on things and lets foster mom know if there’s anything out there - a deer, a squirrel, a visitor.
19 Next to foster mom and on top of foster sis. What a perfect way to spend the afternoon.
20 Curled up with little bro after a long day of adventures, both inside and out.
21 She always ends up finding her spot next to foster mom.
22 Dixie is on the lookout for her perfect new “furever” home. Lots of love - check! Short daily walks - check! Fenced yard to run and play in - check! A canine sibling and lots of toys to play with - check! A good lap to snuggle in - check! Is it you?!
We what like to know where to see Dixie for we love her look and believe she is the one for us. We lost our Sugar 2 yrs ago and miss the love that she gave to us and need to have another to give a nice home and love again
