Meet Quinn, a sweet 8-year old girl with spunk and confidence.  She has the energy of a much younger girl.

This is Quinn shortly after arriving in her new foster home.  She found a comfy cushion and curled up near her two foster siblings.

At first she was curious and attentive, but quiet.

Within a few days, this girl blossomed! If a picture is worth 1,000 words, then this video says it all!  Click and watch Quinn go through her paces.  (The screen looks black but if you click on it there is a video to watch.)

Gorgeous girl!  She has a perfect rattie stance and moves gracefully.

She pays close attention to her person and is very smart, quickly learning what's expected.

She loves the yard, where she can sniff all the smells and explore at her own pace.

In true rattie fashion she will chase any squirrels who encroach on "her" space. So far she's only barked at cats, but a cat-free zone is probably best for all concerned.

Neighborhood walks are clearly her favorite.  When she sees the leash come out, she literally jumps for joy!  Let's go!

Here's a video of Quinn walking with her foster bro with a stop to check out the local social media.  She walks beautifully on leash and gets along nicely on pack walks.

She loves meeting new people.  She's very sociable with almost everyone she meets, young and old, men and women, adults and children. That little blur is her wagging tail!

It's so nice to have friends in the world!  This is her new buddy.  She seems most comfortable with dogs her own size.

But priorities are priorities - people first!  Chin scratches are the BEST.

She's good at home and a good visitor, too.  She's completely housebroken and well-mannered.  Everybody likes her visits.

One good turn deserves another! Quinn loves to give kisses.

Treats are always in order!  Where are they, foster mom?

When the day is over, she'll settle into a nice soft spot for the evening.  Her favorite place is snuggled next to her person.

I'm smiling because life is pretty good these days!  It will be even better when I find my "furever" home.  I hope it's with you!
