I have a female Rattie almost exactly like Blue Bell.  She's blue colored as well and was a breeder at a puppy mill in NC.  She's been w/me for six years now. She had never walked on grass before and when I got her, her paws were huge - hypertrophied from being in a cage all of her life. She's got about 4 teeth left, and is mostly blind and deaf. It took me about 3 years to get her to walk on a leash and it's only been in the last year she will allow me to pick her up and snuggle w/her.  She'll snuggle with me on the couch for about 10 minutes but that's all she can do. I think she's a bit claustrophobic. She's even started meeting me at the door when I come home for hugs and kisses. She's absolutely the sweetest dog in the world and she gets what she wants, when she wants, how she wants.  She's got a Rattie brother to keep her company and she runs w/him in the backyard and barks at other dogs. She lets me dress her up and is my little "baby doll".  I'd consider adopting Blue Bell but my Baby Doll is same-sex aggressive and I don't want to bring any stress into her life at this point (vet estimates her to be about 15-16 years old now...).  If anyone is considering adopting Blue Bell, please know that given TLC, patience, and time, you will have a precious Baby Doll, too!

BlueBelle is a beautiful young lady. So many people are heartless having puppy mills and abusing these angels. I would love to have BlueBelle or another Rat. Growing up I had a beautiful little Rat, who was my bestfriend. I grew up in a household where there were lots of fighting. LittleBit was always there for me and would sit and actually cry with me. I unfurnately am unable to pay the $175.00 because I am now handicapped. I would love to have a senior rat where they could help me want to walk. I can walk with a cain, but I have no desire to actually get up and do things anymore. Anyone who wants a Rat they are a wonderful breed of fur baby.
