I was elated to see the photos of that lovely Zena and then much saddened to read
that such a beautiful creature had been adandoned and is looking for a new home
when she is 14 years old! I could see her being the centre of a custody battle but not being dumped at such a time in her life.
She is so much like our late Holly, orphaned at 12 and rescued from Merced County,
who came to live with us for nearly four wonderful years. As my wife would say - she
was Perfect - a delight to see her content and happy in her declining years.
Much as we would love to,I regret that we cannot offer a home to Zena for we are far
away, in Victoria, BC,  Canada. Surely she will be offered a home where she will be
looked after and be happy for the rest of her life, down there in Georgia?
Please give her a gentle stroke and tell her that she will find her place soon - that is
if she is stlll with you.

Zena's eyes say it all. I would love to adopt her! We are seniors ourselves and have given many years of devotion and love to our fur babies. We lost our beloved Chloe in July and there is a hole in our hearts.
