We love Lucy too and if she doesn't go to the other place, we would love to be her forever home. Also just lost our beloved "Pete" a rat terrier who was loved by the whole community in Weaverville, NC - within a few hours drive of Little River, SC. I AM SO EXCITED!! I want to adopt her. Submitted the application! I had a rat that I had to put to sleep the day before thanksgiving. She was 16 y/o and had kidney failure 😢😢😢 We had a rough 6 months trying to keep her as comfortabke as possible. I discovered the Auburn University vet school and they have become my primary vet. Soooo fabulous! Lucy looks a lot like her. I've never seen another rat with those same markings and probably that soft coat of fur. I have a 9 y/o rat/ chihuahua who is spoiled rotten...except for the daily tooth brushing that she hates!! She will love having a sister unless she has to share her place under the covers at night!!! I hope we can work things out and she can join our family (no kids...unless you agree that puppies are just like kids!) - Lorries Kruse, Sat, 11 Jun 2016 6:13PM | |||||
