1 Hey there, I'm Ernie!	2 I have a great personality to match this gorgeous smile.	3 I'm a happy, funny, silly kid once you get to know me!
4 I admit, I'm very shy with new people at first.	5 I quickly warm up to people who don't pose a threat to me. Then I ask for lots of affection!	6 I am totally loyal to my people. Once I bond with a person, I fall deeply in love with them (and they with me).
7 I'm pretty great all around.	8 I love to run in the yard and play with toys!	9 I'm also really good at hanging out and being mellow.
10 I love to sun bathe!	11 I really like other dogs; they make me feel safe and at ease.	12 I especially like other dogs around when I visit new places.
13 At my foster home, I hang out with lots of dogs of all shapes and sizes.	14 I'm not a fan of really big dogs, though. I can deal with it, but I'd rather not.	15 Most of the time, I'm pretty happy-go-lucky!
16 Did I mention that I love to snuggle?	17 Here's that great smile again!	18 Look how soft and kissable this face is. Who could resist?
19 I play hard and then get tuckered out!	20 Yep, I think it's time for a nap.	21 I was dumped at a shelter because I slept on the furniture when the family wasn't home. In my foster home, I'm treated like part of the family and can sit on the couch with them!
22 Well rested and ready to play again!	23 I'm not super fast or athletic, but I do like to play with toys!	24 I'm not possessive about my toys; I'll share them with people and with dogs!

Hi there. Ernie is precious. We have 16 years rat terrier experience., and we just laid our baby to rest. One of the ad says we would have to live in WI, to give Ernie is forever home. please can you clarify. Does Ernie fear new people ? We have a fenced yard and I do not work and can give a dog all the walks ,love, and attention they require. Free to hang out on couch and sleep with us. Can you clarify? We rescued a dog from St Francis last year in NC for my mom and pop on law. We love all dogs but especially rat terriers.
