This picture was taken when Ellie first came to us.  She adored lying in the sun to warm her skinny body.  You could see how she had been neglected just from her teeth.

Thanks to New Rattitude, I'm feeling much better after having good veterinary and dental care, so I go walking by the koi pond to get to enjoy the out of doors.

There are a lot of good smells in our yard.  I think I smell chipmunk.

When it's hot, I like to go into this crate -- with the door open -- and just hang out while my foster mom works on the computer.

This is my Jungle Girl imitation.  Really, I'm just walking across the yard looking for chipmunks.

I had not yet figured out the doggie door in this picture.  Now, I'm a pro!  I do still like for my Foster Parents to go outside with me, though.

I am a quirky, very sweet girl with very good house manners.

Ellie has discovered TOYS!  Of course, she still feels that the camera will eat her.

Ellie is a very alert and watchful girl, especially around dinner time.

This is her paw puzzle.  She does this in just a short time.  Parts go everywhere!

This is a nose puzzle.  She can do this one in seconds.

I love my ball!

We want peanut butter.  I'm doing better with my housemates, but not all the time.

I smell chipmunks!

I know I saw that chipmunk go into this blueberry bush!

I'm looking for someone to love me. I really would prefer that someone is home with me all the time.

Ellie falls into what I am looking for, a companion. I live alone and would enjoy her company very much. I have to take therapy for my arthritis and part of that is walks, she would be great company. I have considered a puppy but I would rather have someone closer to my age, haha. I used to groom dogs, still do for friends and old clients. Plus is she likes to go for rides in the car!

I currently have a 4-yr-old spayed female Rat, Maya, who is my serice dog, and have had either Rats or Toy Fox all my life. I am a very active 79 yr-old woman and have an 86 acre ranch here, just east of Kingman, Az in the Pinon/Juniper forest. I am looking for an older female(hunting) companion for Maya and they would have the run of the ranch (with no auto traffic). I am willing to consider air shipping to Las Vegs.

I'd take her in a minute if I didn't have a cat in my home. I lost my 14 1/4 year old rattie resuce in February and have felt so empty since then. I hope little Ellie finds the wonderful home she so deserves!
