Renly seems to be the reincarnation of our childhood BFD (bestfriend dog), a rat terrier named Rexie. Renly is the right age, disposition, well-mannered, and mellow. I think we could get along. However, we are not young. My husband is an invalid; I am in good health -- 74 going on 55 (I think, anyway. I dearly miss our best dog Dixie who passed almost five years ago. We both would love a dog to cuddle us and vice-versa. We live on a quiet circle at the edge of town. City tree nursery is right next to us so Renley and I would have a good place to run.
