Alyssa is a year old Teddy Style Rat Terrier.

Her house training is coming along nicely . We are in the process of teaching her how to use the doggy door.

She needs lots of attention from her human, and would like her human to be home alot to spend lots of time with her.

Alyssa is very verbal so she will need to go to a home not a condo or apartment.
She wines a bit when her foster mom leaves for work but settles right in and takes a nap and quite's down.

I am so tempted!! We have the perfect home and I have a male rattie, (Foley), who rescued me! Does Alyssa wag her tale a lot? Play with toys and like to hide in blankets? Alyssa looks beyond cuddly!!! I've never heard of a Teddy Rat Terrier. How are they different from a Rat Terrier? She is precious. I'm looking for the right combination of spunky and cuddly. I think Alyssa would melt my heart with along with Foley and shy Wheaton little girl and my Noodle, Chihuahua with Callie the Whisper, a coggy (cat who thinks she's a dog). All my furry children are beloved and nutured with vet care and grooming. Please let me know if Alyssa is still available.

Oh, I'd grab her in a second if I thought she'd work out with our older rat terrier that is also a rescue dog. She looks absolutely sweet as can be. Our first dog is an alpha female, tho, and might not accept her. I'll try to follow her progress.
