Dori is a sweet little girl. My wife and I are interested in adopting another rat terrier since we just had to endure the heartbreak of losing our 'rattie" to cushings disease or menigitis. (Vets could never determine what she was suffering from). We have another small dog (a 3 yr old male chihuahua)who misses his furever friend. We are being reviewed for adoption approval with New Ratitude and we hope to have approval soon. We are interested in (2) Rat Terriers listed on the website; 1st: Lavender and second: Dorian Grey. We live in Northern California and would need to arrange for flight to our area. Would love more information about "Dori" and how well she is learning new things. Does she respond to male humans or is she frightened by past history? Do you think she could handle a flight to California? Thanks for your foster-mom heart! - Ernie Templeton, Sun, 30 Dec 2012 9:17PM
Awe she looks just like my Duchess. I am sure she will find a forever home. I would snatch her up in a heartbeat but I am in PA - cheryl, Mon, 19 Nov 2012 11:06AM
I wish she was closer to Ohio, I would adopt her in a heartbeat. She is beautiful and would be the perfect playmate for my little 9lb. rat terrier Libby. These photos are gorgeous. I wish all rescue dogs could have photos of this quality. I think it would help the adoption rate greatly. - Lisa, Fri, 9 Nov 2012 11:39AM
Dori is so cute. We have one Rat Terrier, almost 6 years old. He would love to have a companion, as our Mini Schnauzer died on June 20th. My husband would not be thrilled to get another dog, but I am ready. Thank you for providing a great home for Dori while she waits for a forever home. - Carol Kurz, Sun, 4 Nov 2012 1:16AM
