Trixie and family

Little Trixie is an older mama who came to rescue with 4 one day old pups born on November 24th, 2009.  Just when she was thinking about a nice retirement little Trixie is instead learning how to deal with her very sweet pups, 2 boys and 2 girls.  UPDATE:  These puppies have been adopted!

She is an 8.5 year old girl who found herself in a shelter heavily pregnant.

Tessa is a bit of a handful. She plays rough and is very very busy.  She is energetic and fun but still loves cuddling and tummy rubs.

Ty is the pup who most wants to be snuggled.  He will crawl into his foster mom's lap or arms and plant soft puppy kisses (and sometimes not so soft ones - he is learning).

Little Taffy at 7 weeks old is the smallest of the bunch.  She is feisty and fun.

So adorable!  And so thankful for people like you that can help these poor pups that wind up in shelters, homeless or whatever their misfortune.

Thank you to those who rescued this little lady and her babies.  Thank you is such an inadequate word, wish there was something better that really represents how much I (along with other people, I am sure) appreciate your hard work and devotion.  I am a rescuer in southern California, do as much as I can for the organization here.
