Meghan made it! She will have a luck with her life! Everyone tried to go through a hole the size of the Big Buddha's nostril to become a lucky person.

Thank you very much for Kyoto Host family. Two nights was a very short time.

We visited the oldest tea-making store in Uji (Kyoto). We tasted some very expensive tea.

The Japanese middle school students interviewed us about Japan in English. After that we  took a photo.

This is quite an experience.
We did about half hour buddhism meditation in authentic manner.

The monk is walking around with big wooden stick to check everyone is meditating properly.

We gained a great deal of knowledge about Japanese buddhism from this monk.
