15 Meiji Shrine 1 Rain again :( This is our first shrine to visit. It is amazing.
16 Meiji Shrine 2 Before entering the shrine we have to wash our hands and rinse our mouth.
17 Meiji Shrine 3 This is called "Ema" which is a wooden board. People write wishes on them and put on the rack. Ben, what do you think of them?

19 Yokohama Hostfamily Fred and his host mom (Mrs. Tukioka). Yoroshiku onegaishimasu!
20 Yokohama Hostfamily 2 Alex and his host dad (Mr. Matumoto). He hosted a student who went to Japan with Nagai sensei in 1999.
21 Yokohama Hostfamily 3 Ben and Ben's host brother who is a student at Hakuyo High School in Yokohama.
22 Japanese speech at Hakuyo H.S, Ben made a speech all in Japanese to Hakuyo High School staff members. He did a great job!
23 English class at Hakuyo H.S We introduced ourselves to the English conversation class. We did small group discussions with them in English. Their English is good!
24 Hakuyo H.S students Alex and Hakuyo girls. After lunch we had some free time to talk with them.
25 Tea ceremony lesson What are we doing? After having tea we are supposed to enjoy the tea bowl. This is our Japanese Tea lesson. Thanks to Hakuyo tea ceremony club.
