Fellow at this croc place said there was one larger at 34 feet killed several years later. Salt water crocks. Open ocean thru that part of the world. This was taken on the river near Karumba on the gulf of Carpenteria. Another person with property on Cape York says they are often seen in his area as wide across the back as a 12 foot aluminum boat is wide. Signs everywhere to not stand too close to the river edge.
