1 of the 2 ferry boats moving traffic while the bridge is built. They run constantly 24/7. During the winter they ran back and forth even empty to keep the broken channel from freezing.

Look righ in front of the crane mid span on the distant shore. The arch you see is the center section. By water its roughly 5 miles from the bridge to crown point beach where they built the center span.
