wow Mona, your first huh? so is there anything at which you do not excel?! Watercolor is such a tricky medium and these are very very nice....I think I love the white calla's best myself...impressive my friend...

This is my second attempt at Birds of Paradise flowers about 1 year after my first try! The oranges in the flame petals of the Birds are a bit more vivid than the picture. Where the first attempt was kind of a cool and crisp effect, this one is steamy, exotic, and a bit more wild. I was very happy with the way the graduated shading and colors played up in this one!
