These two books are available at Amazon in both Kindle and softcover editions. Enclosed here are post-publication drafts. Soviet Science Spies is about a nuclear physicist caught up in conflicts with the Soviet Union in the 1960s, and the science background story is factual. Russian Science Spies is about the same thing but occuirs in the present day, and the "science" is based on gross extrapolations of fact. While the first book has erotic scenes, the second book has sexually explicit passages.

I had written (and published) a reconciliation of these doctrines. But a terrific guy, almost-priest, who's attending the seminary, gave me far better answers from his studies than I had. His accounts of St. Aquinas's reflections clarified them for me, for the first time. His backgroud is obviously far better than my physics backgroud for tackling such dillemas. 

I was very glad to see that my late friend Roger Cohen’s obituary will be published in the magazine Physics Today which goes out to the American Physical Society’s 50,000 members.

This is a follow-up to the Album below, "The 97% of Scientists" Debunked". It reveals explicitly the vast discrepancy between IPCC scientific reports and the published, highly politicized summaries prepared by non-scientists and used by radical environmentalist groups, uninformed government officials, and the media.

President Trump is considering Dr. William Happer for his Science Advisor. I've sent the President this letter which briefly explains why Dr. Happer would be a super choice.

This letter was delivered to the White House by Senator John Thune, R-SD, and also picked up and signed for at the DC P.O.

The sexual desires and behavior of men and women are different.  And accommodating both at once is discussed in an excellent book.

Roger was the best friend I've ever had. He wasn't just an exceptionally brilliant and successful physicist; he had many interests and activities. And Roger wasn't just smart, he was such a wise person, and he tried to help everyone he met. His counsel and friendship will live on forever in the hearts of a great many people.

Roger passed away last Friday in the arms of his loving wife Lorraine after battling an agressive brain tumor. I was able to visit him throughout his illness, thanks to Lorraine.

This is a series of emails, last to first, on "both" sides of this issue, although I think only one side has any credibility.

We had our first Fricke Family Reunion with all the siblings present for the first time in many years. It was hosted by my brother Bill and his wife Dixie, and by Bill's daughter Wendy and her husband Jeff, at their homes in New Jersey. My sister Sally and her husband Hal came down from Massachusetts. My sister Joan and her husband Maury live in NJ, as do my nephew Bill, Jr. and his wife Kara. My nephew Mark came up from Washington, DC. The purpose of this meeting was to honor of John Wheeler's 90th birthday and his many contributions to quantum mechanics, cosmology, and information science by promoting a freewheeling debate on these topics vis-à-vis the reality we perceive.  The Q/A  sessions are particularly fascinating.

A physician friend of mine asked me about the present status of the global warming craze, which was supported by one of his colleagues. This was my reply.

By the way, I have no quarrels with the research budget for global warming, only with pouring tens of billions of our tax dollars, especially in this economy, into remedial actions that have no basis in scientific fact.

Barbara and I made our annual trek to Nootka Wilderness Lodge http://www.nootkawildernesslodge.com/  on the west (Pacific) coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada – flying into Vancouver and connecting to Campbell River, BC, on the east side, then taking a float plane to the lodge.  This year, my brother Bill joined us again, and so did his son Bill (called “Billy” here) and his son-in-law Jeff.

Adddition 1: One more by ear

Addition 2: 4 Golden Oldies with me on bass added Sept 2008 (third screeen). I’ve dusted off my electric bass in the past two weeks and have always liked these old ones enough to record them today, again substituting the original bass lines with my own.

Addition 3:  "Are You Lonesome Tonight" added May 2009 (fourth screen). I recorded this one which has me singing (and talking) as well as playing bass.

Addition 4:  "You'll Never Walk Alone" added May 2009 (fifth screen). This is just a sing-along, no vocal reverb as in "Are You Lonesome Tonight" and no bass added.
