Today Madison saw the doctor. The other babies (from a different orphanage) in our group are all a little sick. Thankfully, Madison is doing great.

You ALL look so happy -- and we are too! She'll probably like the pool water better than the bath water. You look like you're getting used to each other very well. What a wonderful blessing that she is so healthy too!! God is in control!!

We will all feel close to Maddy before we even get to hold her ! Thank you for sharing-when you get home I'm sure things will be much too busy for posting pictures! We really appreciate this, it's like time spent with the three of you. I know you wish Ethan was with you-but soon you'll all be together. Yea!

1 Here's our little angel sleeping. She slept for 6 1/2 hours last night before she woke up crying. Then she went back to sleep for another 3 hours. Pretty good, huh? "Did Chris pick out the Win..." "Actually, that's the crib ..." View Comments...	2 She's not too happy with hats or shoes. It's too bad because she looks really cute in them. Oh well, we'll work on it. "She is so cute in the hat...." View Comments...	3 Here's Miss Serious in her borrowed stroller. You can get one for free from the local merchants and then just return it before you leave.	4 Bathtime! We were told that she likes the water, but she fusses the whole time she's in the tub. Not like she is scared, just that she wants to be held a lot. That's understandable with the big change that's just occurred in her life.
5 Here she is "fussin' in the tub".	6 I really like this picture. She's very photogenic, of course, I'm a little biased!	7 Another shot while she was playing. She looks so serious here, but she actually is becoming more and more playful all the time.	8 She has even started to give us "kisses" -- she will open her mouth and lean toward your mouth - and then stick her tongue out!
9 Here we are waiting for the medical exam. She has to have one before she can enter the U.S.	10 Dr. Fang was very nice to Maddy. He tried to distract her with toys and was very gentle.	11 She was not happy about his poking and prodding, though. She's not crying here because he hasn't begun yet.	12 She didn't like the stethoscope or having her clothes undone. I think maybe she's had this kind of thing done before and remembered getting a shot, maybe?
13 No shots today, though. Here we are after the physical, just waiting for the other babies in our group to get done. Unfortunately a lot of them are sick with colds.	14 This is Sophie. She is the cutest little girl. She just got a new little sister, Sonia. Sophie has been very helpful to her mom and dad and has charmed the whole group. She's four years old.	15 Here we are in the waiting room still, all three of us. Soon we will get a picture with Ethan, too! "Ethan is going to be an aw..." 17 I decided I needed some lovin' from Daddy, too, to make me feel better.
