1 Here we are with Madison! We only have this one picture of us with her. It was all very confusing at the time and everyone was trying to video for each other, so we didn't get alot of digital pictures. We do have alot of video with each of us holding her. 2 We went to the Civil Affairs office to get Madison and complete some paperwork.
3 They took us all to a room and had us wait for the babies there. We were told that the other orphanage's babies had arrived. But we didn't know if Maddy was there yet or not (different orphanage).
4 They brought the first baby in and said her Chinese name. They had to say it twice before we realized it was our baby! We weren't expecting her until after the others. So, we didn't have the camcorder ready, but some of the other parents grabbed it and tried to get some video of us crying and hugging her. We haven't watched it to see how it turned out yet. 7 Mr. Chen, the orphange director with Kitty, the assistant director and another administrative staff worker.
8 They seemed to like her very much and Mr. Chen kissed and hugged her goodbye. She didn't cry at all though. She saved her crying until we got back to the hotel! :)
