Today we went to the Folk Art Museum. It was outdoors, so we didn't stay very long as it is pretty hot and miserable, especially for the babies.

So glad you guys got to see this musuem! We too went when we were in Guangzhou. Unfortunately, the place isn't air conditioned nor heated! Great pics! Hurry home!

1 A door to the courtyard of the museum.	2 You can see how large these doors are by the size of the people.	3 The artwork on the roof of the museum was intricate and beautiful.	4 This screen (divider)was carved from wood.
5 A close-up view of the rooftop artwork.	6 This moon-shaped piece of jade appears to have mountains carved into it. Behind the jade piece are a table and chairs.	7 A beautiful chair...	8 Daddy and Madison
9 This statues represents women over a 40 year period -- how they've changed over time.	10 Porcelain vases and other porcelain art were on display.	11 This vase was made from ivory. If you look closely you will notice that the middle section is almost like netting, you can see right through. How they did that by carving in ivory, we don't know.	12 Another amazing ivory sculpture...
13 Here's Madison in one of her calm moments. There aren't too many. She has become waaaay too comfortable in her new position as our daughter. She is very active and demanding. Probably because we are in this one little room, for one thing. We can hardly wait to get home!! ;)
