2nd Day

Today we went back to Civil Affairs to complete paperwork and vow to love her and take care of her, never abusing or abandoning her. And to give her a good education. Then we went to the police station to get her passport paperwork done. We also received her adoption decree, and she is officially ours as far as China is concerned.

1 Here's Madison asleep on Daddy. She slept on both of us alot today. She didn't sleep very soundly last night. She slept but she kept whimpering alot.	2 Another shot of her sleeping on daddy. For breakfast this morning she ate scrambled eggs, tiny bits of banana bread and a couple of sips of apple juice. She didn't really want any formula until late this morning.	3 Here she is in the playrooom at the Civil Affairs office.	4 Here's Madison and mommy. She attached to daddy right away (which was sad for mommy yesterday!) but she has decided she likes me, too, today. (The babies often prefer the daddies first for some reason.)
5 We were finally able to get her to take her first bottle of formula. We were originally told to make it room temperature, but we found out she likes it as hot as possible!	6 Here she is in the hotel room playing on the bed.	7 She loves the stacking cups! She likes to bang them together. Oh boy! "She is so pretty and looks..." View Comments...	8 Daddy fell asleep (surprise! he's a napper!) :) and Madison was climbing all over him playing on the bed. 9 Now Madison is sleeping again. She makes a sucking sound like she is nursing a bottle when she sleeps. It is really cute.	Download MOV 10 VIDEO!!! This may take awhile to load depending on your computer, but it is SO worth the wait! It's only a couple of minutes long, but it's great footage!
