Gravelly Point-National Airport  (May 29 2004) Gravelly Point is just north of National Airport, just across the Potomac from Washington, DC.  The Mt. Vernon biking/hiking trail goes by there, and it is possible to watch (and listen!) to lots of aircraft as they arrive and depart National.
