1 An eerie calm lay over the sea. 2 That's not a sandy beach.  It's a mixture of salt formations, crustacean skeletons, and fish bones.  Pass the tanning butter! 3 The sun hanging low. 4 Niles in deep thought. 5 These pelicans are born brown, but the salt bleaches them white. (I made that up.) 6 Coming in for a landing. 7 Because of the high salinity, everything floats higher in the water.  (I didn't make that up.) 8 An old trailer dissolving into the salt earth. 9 The salt eats away at everything. 10 Only skeletons remain. 11 What's left of an old trailer that collapsed into the ground. 12 It's like acid.
