Amsterdam
We flew into Amsterdam and stayed on a houseboat on the Amstel River. A little cozy, but worth the experience. Such a cool city, especially on a bicycle in the summer. Can't be beat. As always when we visit, we meet up with Karen's cousin Andrea. She is always a gracious host.

Having beers at Cafe Van Wou, which wasn't a cafe, but a pub. We nicknamed our waitress "Surly" because she was.

Andrea took us to a small boutique restaurant called Wink. I think this was fish, among other things.

Banksy exhibit at the Moco Museum. It was interesting since Banksy doesn't really do gallery art. There was some Andy Warhol stuff also.

Grand Hotel Armâth. One of the most amazing Art Nouveau buildings I've ever seen. I want to stay there next time I visit Amsterdam.
