13 Filling the CC.	14 Picked up lots of bugs from ATL to OK City.	15 And I'm off with the rising sun right in my rear view.
16 Saw a whole lot of this.	17 And some of these.	18 Had to pull off to roll down Route 66 a bit.
19 Clinton, OK has Trains.	20 Route 66 signs.	21 And has a Route 66 museum.
22 Route 66 Museum	23 And a nice old Vette.	24 Welcome to Texas - the Texas panhandle.
25 The Panhandle's full of a lot of this.	26 Nice Texas Rest Area	27 Stars of Texas.
28 Had a little museum of it's own.	29 CC parked at the rest area.	30 More bugs!
31 I passed this leaning water tower. Pisa Texas?	32 Little town, big religion.	33 Thought I'd be able to get a Whataburger when I got far enough west. Yehaw. Whataburger's ahead in Amarillo, TX.
34 What-A-Burger!	35 Got off I40 to go overland and the back way into Santa Fe, NM. Tucumcari? Wonder if it was named for someone?	36 Downtown Tucumcari. It's a pretty sleepy place.
37 It has it's Route 66 strip as well but no museum or fanfare. Tucumcarian's must like it sleepy.	38 It has this cool old building. Was one of the highlights for me.	39 They have a closed down railway station.
40 So the back road from Tucumcari up to Las Vegas and then over to Santa Fe has a lot of this.	41 And this.	42 I wanted to meet the owner of this place but no one was to be found. How appropriate. Someone's already bought my retirement place.
43 Hit Santa Fe about 5pm local time. Cleaned up and headed to The Inn of the Anasazi for dinner.	44 The waiter hasn't quite mastered the low light photo tricks but not bad for no flash.	45 Had one of the best crab cakes ever.
46 Main course was their Southwestern Tuna.	47 Closer Tuna.	48 Inside the Inn of the Anasazi.
49 Another interior of the Inn.	50 The stairs leading down .... guess where .... stairs. I like the architecture.	51 On the way back to the hotel I passed this little Carny so I stopped and shot a few pix.
