Yet another surprise party for me...

Surprise, Surprise and Surprise ! I should say that the month of March should be a month of surprises. Just a week later after Ramesh, Venkat and Harsha surprised me on my birthday, Priya and Anu planned out another surprise for me. This time they all managed to pull off the surprise successfully. The only person missing in today's party was Venkat and we all sure missed him. Thanks guys for the wonderful surprise. I was so totally taken off guard about the whole thing.

Happy Birthday!!!!!! Keep simling and get surprised :) About the gift, both are ture. :) I have a request, when you become a magician, pls don't make me disappear .. I still have long life to live. :) Have fun and enjoy madi.

enlarge 41KB, 800x600 1 I'm indeed surprised I'm asking Priya how the whole thing was planned. It's interesting how they planned the surprise. Let me tell you - It all started last sunday, the day before my birthday. Priya and Anu started talking about having a party and invited Ramesh and Harsha. Priya had already surprised me on my birthday by sending me red roses and my friends had also surprised me by coming over to my place. I had thought everything was over, but then who knew that it was the beginning of the major surprise. After all, who would think that there would be a surprise after 4 days of my birthday? The day finally dawned. Priya was getting impatient to get to Anu's place. The party was all set @ Anu's place. Anu came back home by 4pm and brought the cake she had ordered. Harsha took off from work and went over to Anu's place with Ramesh to do the decorations. Priya and I were supposed to go over to Anu's place @ around 8pm after going over to the temple. Anu had invited both of us for dinn...	enlarge 58KB, 800x600 2 I tawt I taw a puddy-tat! It was so sweet of Anu to have ordered this cake. Actually Priya wanted my favorite cartoon character, Flintstone, to be the theme of the cake. But the bakers said that they don't have any designs for old cartoon characters like Flintstones or Scooby Doo. Well Priya knew that a softer side of me liked tweety bird character and hence the cake. Look at the icing - it all looks like the traditional Tweety bird yellow color and there is a small tweety bird holding out a flower sitting on the cake. Isn't it so cute? Thanks guys for putting in so much thought into this. I just love it.	enlarge 68KB, 800x600 3 Another shot @ 27... I cut my cake and once again I'm 27. Come on guys start singing - Happy birthday. This time the candles did not fall off the cake.

Thanks Anu for the wonderful choice of cake.	enlarge 52KB, 800x600 6 Ramesh's gift A very thoughtful gift from Ramesh. A book on Magic.
enlarge 62KB, 600x800 7 What can this gift mean? This present from Ramesh can possibly mean 2 things. [1] He knows that I like magic, so he wants me to learn more OR, [2] He saw how I performed @ Radhika's 4th birthday party 2 weeks back and he would have thought - "I need to give something to this fella so he can learn some magic properly and won't make a fool of himself in front of others" Ramesh has to tell which reason was kept in mind while he chose this gift. But whatever the reason is I loved the gift and its awesome.	enlarge 43KB, 800x600 8 Decorations Credit goes to Harsha and Ramesh. I liked the "Karthik" placed in a circular fashion. Nice way of saving to put an extra 'K' :) It was Anu's idea to keep the party table in the dining area so that I wouldn't suspect anything as soon as I entered the home. These guys have put a lot of thought into this party. Great, thanks guys !	enlarge 53KB, 800x600 9 The Peanuts gang seem to be having a confusion... This was a very nice card chosen by Anu.

It was cool of Anu to have suggested to bring the food from Town Tandoori. Town Tandoori is Ranga's favorite place. The food was just awesome. Parathas, Spinach Raitha, Mixed Vegetables, Chhole, Rice, Salad.	enlarge 45KB, 800x600 12 The games have begun Game 1: I needed to identify where these pictures of mine were taken. This game was organized by Anu and she picked up all the photos from this very websire and from many of the albums opened on this website. I think I got about 8 correct out of 11. Not bad for a person like me who hardly remembers where a photo was taken and what color clothes one was wearing. Oh yeah - Priya aces at that.
enlarge 33KB, 800x600 13 2 truths and a lie The 2nd game was to tell 2 truths and a lie about yourself. The trick is that the other people need to say which is true and which is false. It was fun but ended soon as we all seem to know each other too well to answer wrongly.	enlarge 49KB, 800x600 14 Dumb Charades The 3rd game was dumb charades. This is an amazing game and enjoyable for people of all ages. Priya is enacting out something to Anu for her to guess the movie...	enlarge 31KB, 800x600 15 Ramesh enacts out... I think the movie's name was "Star Wars." Good going Ramesh !

Harsha is getting geared up for the round.	enlarge 39KB, 600x800 17 Never say the correct answer The last game was to never answer a question correcly that was asked to you. It was an interesting game. I messed up big time in the very first question. Anu asked me the name of the first president was "George...." what ? I had Bush in my mouth but said out Washington and I was out. Lucky I got another chance to play. Nice questions that force you to tell the right answers.	enlarge 31KB, 800x600 18 Thats all folks ! Thats all folks - good night. I had a wonderful time and it was a wonderful surprise and I enjoyed every bit of it. Thanks once again to Priya and Anu for the idea of the party. Thanks to Anu and family for the tweety cake (it was so sweet) and many many thanks to Ramesh and Harsha for the wonderful decorations and making the whole thing a big surprise. I love you guys !
