March and February are months packed with birthdays. March 1st is Harsha's birthday. So far I had only wished him on his birthdays by word of mouth, but this time I felt like doing something more than that. I wanted to surprise him with a party. I should definitely thank his roommates and other friends to have made it to the party and still maintain it a surprise all along. Inside the album I will tell you all how the whole surprise turned out successful. Enjoy.

The lights were put off, the footwear was inside, all the friends @ different places in the living/dining room - the stage was all set to surprise the birthday boy. I entered the apartment and switched on the lights and then Harsha enters - SURPRISE !!! He was indeed surprised as he never realized that a huge party was awaiting him at home. Thanks to Venkat for capturing the video wonderfully. Whose ever idea it was to switch of the lights - it was too good.

This arrangement was done by Venkat, Ramesh and Priya. Thanks to them for setting up an amazing jungle of "Happy Birthday" balloons. In this picture Raju is showing Harsha the cake - actually he showing how big the cake is and how effective it will be if it were to be splat on Harsha's face. What are you looking at me for? Thats what cakes are for, right?

To our luck Safeway had a nice birthday cake with balloons as a part of the icing and I bought in some candy letters, Saurabh, Ankur and others helped fix the letters onto the cake. So, the cake is all set to be splashed - oops - cut...

There you can see Harsha has blown the candles and has began cutting the cake. Whom is he going to feed the first bite? This frame calls for an introduction of Ramesh sitting in the extreme right. The person cut off from the picture is Ankur. It will be more fun watching a short clip of Harsha cutting the cake. Lets watch it in the next frame.

The following day was a Monday, a working day and hence we did not want people to sleep late that night.
