By now you all must have seen Harsha's surprise birthday party album (March 1, 2004). Exactly 15 days later I was born. This time Ramesh, Venkat and Harsha planned to surprise me by coming over to my place at 12 am with a birthday cake. I will explain how the whole surprise thing turned out to be inside the album. But I should really thank them for the pleasant and wonderful thought. I was really thrilled and it made me feel good. Who knew what more surprises were on the way that day... We did not have a chance to take much pictures and hence there are more video clips than pictures. After all videos can explain some things better than pictures. Enjoy fellas.

enlarge 55KB, 800x600 1 The birthday cake The birthday cake ornated with the candles "27". Yes guys, thats my age. I can't believe I'm 27. The cake was a banana split cake with chocolate icing, whipped creme and cherries. Since this was a surprise at my apartment, there were no balloons or any other decorations. However Ramesh's brain has again worked here - look at the Bugs Bunny cutpiece behind the candles. Bugs Bunny is holding out the balloons. Nice idea Ramesh.
enlarge 53KB, 800x600 2 A surprise foiled At sharp 12am I get a call on my cellphone and it was from Ramesh. I obviosuly thought he would be calling to wish me Happy Birthday, but to my surprise it was Venkat. Venkat told me that Ramesh had suddenly fallen sick and was unconcious. Venkat wanted to know if I knew any hospital closeby and was wondering if I could go with him to the doctor. From the very beginning that Venkat started out on this note, I found the whole thing very amusing. I did not believe Venkat. There were several reasons. I had talked to Ramesh a few hours back and he was doing pefectly fine. Also the guy calls me up @ sharp 12 am... Anyway I knew that Ramesh and Venkat were planning on coming home. Venkat did ring the bell at around 12:10am and he tried his best to act tense. But he had a slight sly uncontrollable smile on his face. Finally Ramesh and Harsha show up. Harsha showing up was a total surprise. Harsha was carrying a cake in his hand. So the surprise of coming over was foiled but then who cares - I...

I love these biscotti's and I really dont know how they knew to send only these and not anything else like chocolates or any other biscuits. Thanks to both of them for the wonderful biscuits. The biscuits are almost over...Do I have to wait for one more year to get another one? :(

But actually this can be very nicely co-related to me kick-starting my new age. Ok guys I know its just another 3 years for my mid life, but I wouldn't say crisis, as some people do, but yes - mid life !! Ahh, the simple pleasures of life we have now...
