We had been to Amber India Restaurant for dinner. It was Ramesh's idea to goto Ambere and I'm glad we did. The food was awesome and the place also looked pretty expensive. Thanks to Ramesh and Venkat for bringing us in here for dinner. Actually Ramesh is leaving early August and Venkat late August, hence it was more of a send-off dinner party. Only thing was that the sender was giving the party :)

We were seated and on the roof was all series lights thats went on and off which made it look like we were eating in space. Along the roof beam is written the English transalation for "Karmanyeva Dhikaraste Ma Phaleshu Kadachana..." On the side not visible, it is written in Sanskrit. This place actually attracts more Americans, Spanish and Chinese than Desis. Just look at the people around - the cost of the food was apt for the place.

It was in college that he had taken off to Kolar during one summer and when he returned, you know... but for the record he is a Bachelor.

The moment the waiter [his name was Rohitand he had trouble really understanding our order the first time, we had to repeat everything at least 3 times] got the food, we had gupled it down our throat. that shows our hunger level.

Wanna hear what we ordered - Saffron rice, Assoted Naans, Mint Curry, Panneer Masala, Amber special Naan, Raita and Papad. Wow - ok dude give us the camera and let us eat.

She did not want the taste of Jamoon to go away so I had to put a empty spoon in and act as though I was feeding her something. Nice pic Ramesh - definitely words cannot describe these feelings.
