Looking to the right, just miles of peaceful beach

Looking to the left (south), more miles of peaceful beach.  Well out of the way of busy central seven mile beach.

We stayed in Unit 8 - the honeymoon suite.  It was perfect!  A mere steps to the hammock and the sand, just the way Moosie likes it.

Our teeny-tiny rental car from Avis.  And I do mean tiny.  Since the island is flat and the roads are paved, it was fine.

Alfresco's Restaurant - great views

Conch fritters.  They were good but the dip was just regular tartar sauce.  The fries were awesome, nice and crunchy on the outside.

Grilled Jerk Chicken.  It was pretty good.

Breezes by the Bay in Georgetown

Big Banana Mudslide - it was ok, not too strong, not too sweet.  Their Mojito was good.

Breezes by the Bay
Conch Fritters were very good and the sauce had a nice kick to it.  Ceasar salad was ok.

YUMMMMMMMMMY!  10-finger lickin good.  The sauce is to die for!  The coleslaw, potato salad, rice and peas...they were all delicious.  Highly recommend!

Rum Point
Rum Runner and Mango Daiquiri.  Their drinks are awesome!

Conch Fritters - they were the best ones I tried on the island, but I liked the sauce at Breezes better.

Blackened Mahi Mahi Sandwich - it was quite good.  Eating and drinking with your toes in the sand, what could be better?

Rum Point menu - keep in mind the prices are in CI$ which is US$1 to CI$0.80
Yes...is it an expensive island to visit

Considering the place, the prices weren't so bad.  They have lounge chairs for use, very clean bathrooms & showers, good food, and yummy drinks.

Yoshi's Sushi
Had to try sushi of course.  It was ok, not too bad.  We had the Sushi Combo Boat for 2 and for what you get, it was a good deal.

Yoshi's sushi
The sushi was not too shabby.  Better than the sushi we've tried in other islands.
