Fantastic pictures! i'm going to Antigua at the end of August, staying in the Beach Club and was just wondering where you stayed and where you took the pictures? Ric

We visited Stingray City and we swam/snorkeled with these wonderful sea creatures

Well of course we had to buy the "professional" pic of us holding a stingray!

My turn!  The water is really that crystal clear!  Stingray City is located on the eastern part of the island.  They take you by boat to somewhere in the ocean where there is a reef and shallow sandbar.  Definitely would do this tour again!

Blue Tang
These were big blue tangs at Stingray City.  The picture does not show their true size.

Trunkfish
Another fish seen at Stingray City.  This was a very odd looking fish..and huge!!

Lobster
Looks yummy doesn't it?  This was also at Stingray City.  They had an abundant marine life.  Notice the foot by the top right of the photo.  Now you can sort of picture just how big this lobster really is.

Dickenson Bay Fish
Variety of fish seen snorkeling off Dickenson Bay by the Rex Halcyon.  Excuse the poor quality, these disposable underwater cameras blow!

Checkered Puffer
A very cool looking fish.  It was so friendly by my third day of snorkeling it was following me around.

Checkered Puffer
Oh yeah, we named this fish Oscar.  Don't ask us why we picked that name.  It just sounded good.

Balloonfish
This was a very sly one.  He has pricklies on his body.  When he gets defensive he puffs up and makes his pricklies stand so he looks a bit like porcupine!

Balloonfish
Here he is starting to get mad at me for following him.  We named him Puff Daddy.

Scorpionfish
Very hard to see this fish.  It blends in so well with the sand and coral.

Sergeant Majors
A few big and small colorful sergeant majors.

Striped Fish
They had quite a lot of these fish. Someone said it belongs to the snapper family.

Turtle
We were blessed to be able to find baby turtles that just hatched.  Here's one making its way to the ocean.  Ok, I know it's not good to take a pic of them, but I couldn't help myself!

Baby Shark
This baby shark was about 1 1/2 foot long and it swam in the shallow part of Dickenson Bay away from the crowded area.  It didn't bother anyone, and was in fact trying to get away from the people who kept trying to get close to it. *ahem*  =)
