Give me a little more time and I will get this page updated. Have added a number of new boats since my last update - just been tangled up with the new workshop build.
A few pics of my current collection of boats. Theres a few not yet photographed or hidden in group shots. I will try to add them in time. In all around 85 gas boats and projects.
Not sure if this is one of my boats running with a prior owner or just a sistership with same setup - cool though https://youtu.be/FTBOGyCnkVA?si=xVDol2i3fQrpZzSv
69" MHZ jolly motors cat with Blata 40 powerplant. Originally built with Balantine stingers but being converted to a pair of stern drives to improve the drive line.
Unfinished - this 65" GTX was set up with a near 20hp Mathe 70 inline motor. Running through a counter rotating gearbox to a pair of S6 stern drives. The boat would have a RTR weight of over 50 pounds. It will likely be reconfigured and the motor used in a larger more suitable hull.

Many years back a builder named Rich Ballantine sold RTR cats (53") and apaches (65") along with a few smaller hulls. He made everything. Hulls, hardware, graphics etc. A real artist. The bigger boats were offered with a marinated and clutched G62 zenoah plane motor though he offered the optional 74cc flat twin zenoah also (super rare). The 62cc zenoah has tremendous torque though limited top end rpm. The boat was shipped with a 9515/3 prop (95mm 3 blade). Boats ran well though were never intended to be race boats.
This was all 20+ years ago. Back before 26cc zenoahs. When homelites and 23cc zens were the race motors of choice.
Unfortunately Rich is no longer with us but a few of his boats live on.
