3 day trip, taken with some people from the Hostel in Hanoi, to see the limestone rocks in the sea around Halong Bay

1 A merry band of wanderers, thankfully reasonably aged, heading out to the ocean for a 3 day excursion
2 Actually I was trying to take a picture of Joss and Yonna in the background, thanks.
3 I think these were girls from a Business school in Hong Kong, on vacation for a week or so.
4 Me and I think the guys name was Ben. My roomate for the entirety of the trip. Happy English dude.
5 This is the scene at the docks. 1500 people all trying to get on some boat, one of the 100 boats there, to go out and see the bay.
6 And Liquor though plentiful was not free :(
7 But it was pretty out there. They call Halong Bay the 8th ? wonder of the world?
8 Lots and lots of ships in and around there though. This one was much like the one I was one.
9 If you look closely you can see at the bottom of the limstone cliffs/rocks, that they have been eroded away over time.
10 I don't think our boat had Kayaks. But we did get to go out and do some of that. Actually I almost had a flying fish jump into my kayak. Cool stuff. And then there was the bay that was completely enclosed by rock, all the way round, except for a cave that you could paddle through.

13 ... Or right now. Anyway.. twas a huge thing, nicely lit, and even sported some rather sordid formations :)
