1 Thankfully we made it to Gyantze in like 3 hours. SO after putting down my stuff I went off to explore this place on my own.
2 Its ruins of an old Tibetan fort that defended British "invasion" of sorts in the early 1900's
3 The British came into Tibet basically pissed that no one was trading with them.
4 So they marched to Lhasa and said "Trade with us." And so the Tibetans did. Basically because they were throwing stones at the guns that the British had.

6 This fort was the site of one of the larger "battles" between the UK and the Tibetans.
