Wilbur W Grimm US Army
BLOOMFIELD — Private services for Wilbur Grimm, 87, Bloomfield, were Thursday, Dec. 3, at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Bloomfield. The Rev. Kizito Okhuoya officiated. Public graveside services followed at Bloomfield City Cemetery. Military honors were provided by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4996 and American Legion Post 249.
He died Monday, Nov. 30, 2020, at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton.
Brockhaus Funeral Home in Bloomfield was in charge of arrangements.
Wilbur Warner Grimm, son of Ernest and Clara (Schuett) Grimm, was born Sept. 19, 1933, in rural Bloomfield. Wilbur attended Bloomfield Schools, graduating in 1951. He went on to serve in the U.S. Army, Second Infantry Division, tra
