All things must begin with something small. The Greenhouse begins.
The greenhouse framework is started.
Progress.
It's done!
The Greenhouse, 5 raised beds. 2 of the beds were already built and had been used for 3 years. Whiskey barrel has kale planted last year.
The Asparagus is up!
Raised in the garage under grow lights. Eggplant and tomatoes.
Jim with his potted roses. The rose bed has not been built yet. Whiskey barrels along the short fence will hold veggies and pollinators.
Market Maker seeds from two years ago did not come up.
Beans, radishes, and peas in a new bed.
My herb bed. Thyme, basil, rosemary, lemon balm, and bee balm. There is a guara (sp?) in the top right corner that will bloom pink, and some zinnias next to it. Pollinators.
Yellow crookneck squash. These were also started in the garage.
Progress.
Still not finished, but progress.
Japanese Cucumbers in the greenhouse.
Patio Eggplant
Left to right: Patio Eggplant, Kirby cucumbers, Milkweed, Tomato, Zinnias, Tomato. The tomatoes lost their tags. I'm not sure if they are Honeybees or sweet Millions, started from seed in the garage.
Habanero and Sahuaro peppers started from seed in the greenhouse.
Cos Romaine. Going to be planted to a float table in the greenhouse. First experiment. Crossing my fingers.
