Our tour of France began in Paris, from where we took the TGV train to Avignon. We then bussed south to Nice, Cannes, and Nimes. Turning north, we visited Carcassone, Lourdes, Bordeaux, Cognac, Tours, Normandy, and Rouen. After stopping at Monet's Gardens in Giverny, we returned to Paris for our flights home. The people were as lovely as the country itself.
