91XG Dipole ONLY & Dipole+First Director Antennas Direct 91XG (aka XG91) Dipole (ONLY) analyzed using 4nec2.  XG91a.nec model originally from Ken Nist on hdtvprimer.com. Determined Characteristic Impedance was 350-ohms (300-ohm load had nearly the SAME performance). Dipole plus the closely coupled First Director also analyzed to show effect on Gain, SWR and Characteristic Impedance, which was improved to 280-ohms (300-ohm load had nearly the SAME performance). NOTE: There are several variations of the XG91/91XG from different manufacturers. Carefully check your dimensions against Ken Nist's model...esp. if you think you have a 75-ohm balun.
