The only multisport set produced by Goudey (prounounced "GOW-dee"), Sport Kings features athletes from a wide variety of sports and activities including baseball, football, basketball, boxing, tennis, golf, hockey, cycling, horse racing, skiing, track, wrestling, billiards, swimming, surfing, aviation and dog sledding! Prominent names in the set include Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb (retired), Red Grange, Jim Thorpe, Bobby Jones, Babe Didickson, Howie Morenz, Jack Dempsey and Bill Tilden. This set is much more common than the 1932 U.S. Caramel and on par with the Goudey baseball sets. This is the only prewar set I've completed! |
