1 Clock Dial face with the moon dial cut out but no moon dial inserted. I designed and painted this preliminary dial. The final version hopefully will be better.	2 Moon dial face showing the full dial that represents 2 lunar months 0f 59.5 days.	3 Clock Dial with moon dial inserted.This scene shows the Cape Hatteras light house and a 1700s type sailing ship.	4 Lunar month wheel progressing
5 Second lunar month on dial.	6 North Carolina State Bird the Cardinal on the NC state flower the Dogwood. This picture is compressed slightly so that bird appears too thin.	7 The South Carolina state bird the Carolina Wren on the state flower Yellow Jessamine.	8 The top of the clock dial showing the moon in a waxing state.
9 A better view of one month's main picture. There are 2 dolphins alongside the sailing ship.	10 An even better view.	11 Poseidon 0r Neptune riding his chariot pulled by sea horses and escorted by 2 dolphins.	12 Strawberries are a common motif on the hand painted wooden dials of the 1700s.
