1958 Bell Brand This scarce regional set celebrated the Dodgers move to Los Angeles. 4 of the 10 cards were short printed, with Podres and Reese being a bit easier than the very tough Cimoli and Snider. This set features the last card of Roy Campanella as a player. The accident that rendered him paralyzed occurred just months before the Dodgers moved west, and he would never don a Los Angeles uniform. This set is the finest known to exist, and the rare Cimoli sits alone as the finest example graded. |
