PhotoBlog 2009

Rather than attempt to add one photo every day, the intention is to add random photos as events occur so that this album will grow to become my photographic record of 2009. Photos will be added in reverse order so that the most recent images can be found at the beginning of the album. This collection of images representing the diverse subjects I have photographed during 2009 is now complete and I hope you enjoy reviewing the year as seen by my camera.

Corrigin Dog Cemetery
4 December 2009. This unique resting place came about because of the death of Strike, who was Paddy Wrights best mate. Alan Henderson then buried his dog alongside and built a tombstone. He then cared for other grave sites that followed there after, thus creating the Corrigin Dog Cemetery.

New Jetty at Palm Beach, Rockingham
31 October 2009. This $3.6 million structure replaces the original jetty built in 1944. At 125m long, the jetty is 40m longer than the original, and includes better access, shade structures, fishing platforms and is a fitting setting for the 'Z Force Memorial'.

19 May 2009. Travel to Cunderdin. Government Railways of W.A. - Water Tower - erected circa 1892.
Water gravitated from the rock catchment and reservoir (Cunderdin Hill) into this water tank to supply the railway steam engines.
