This photo and the next were taken after a gruelling climb to the top of this 400 foot cliff. Our campground is in the valley below. Besides the fear factor of climbing these cliffs, there is also an abundance of rattlesnakes and stinging scorpions so we had to be very careful with each step and each time we put our hands upon the rocks above our heads to pull up to another ledge. We also discovered that running shoes are not good for climbing.
