I found the article about your mother and wife on CNN.com and I wanted to send my regards to you and your family during this time of loss. Just remember she is in a better place and keep close to your heart all the special memories you share with this extrodinary women. If only more people were like Mrs. Bonnie the world would be a better place, may she rest in peace as well as all her animals lost in this devastating disaster.

WE HAVE DIXIE AND DAISY (RAT TERRIERS) FROM BONNIES HOME. WE ARE SADDENED BY THE UNTIMELY LOSS OF BONNIE.  SHE SURELY HAS A SPECIAL PLACE RESERVED IN HEAVEN FOR THE LOVING CARE SHE GAVE GOD'S CREATIONS ON EARTH. I GUESS GOD JUST WANTED HER IN HEAVEN TO CARE FOR THE ANIMALS THERE. OUR PRAYERS AND SYMPATHY GOES TO MIKE. MAY GOD BE WITH YOU AND THE LOST ANIMAL.

Our hearts are broken at the loss of our dear Bonnie!  Our lives have been truly blessed to have known such a joyful, sweet, compassionate soul.  We received our first Chihuahua, "Sammy," over 10 years ago from Bonnie and he has brought so much joy to our lives.  Then came "Toto" in Christmas of 2006. Bonnie loved her family (animal and human) so dearly. So many lives have been touched by this precious woman. We will miss you!

To the family, our hearts and prayers go out to you during this time.  Thank you for sharing your "Bonnie" with all of us.  We are praying hard for Mike's recovery.  God bless you all.

Love,
Melanie, Clark, Hayden, "Sammy," and "Toto"

I too found the website after reading a CNN article online this morning.  My heart is deeply saddened by the loss of one such as your "Mrs. Bonnie."  We are assured by the Word of God however, that we are not to sorrow as those who have no hope.  Surely one who saw beauty and shared it in such a wonderful fashion was one who both knew and loved God.  I am equaally sure that one who loved all God's creatures as she did was a special angel on loan from the Father.  She is not gone, she is only away, in transition to a better place.  The words of a black gospel song declare, "When you have given the best of your service, He'll understand and say well done!!"  This morning, God is saying to Bonnie, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant.  Enter now into thy rest."
To the family, be encouraged.  Know that your wife and mother made a difference on this earth during her brief, transitory stay.  She not only left her mark, but she has left you with a job to do.  You must seek to emulate her kindness, and her goodness, showing love by both precept and example so that you may join her at your journey's end, and at the "close of your day."  I pray for your father's recovery and that God will grant him strength to bear his loss of his dear companion, lifemate, and soulmate.  One can see how close they were and one feels their level of devotion to each other and to the animals they so dearly loved through the photos they shared.
I pray also for the little ones who were lost in the storm and that God will provide for those that survived.  You have not, however, really "lost" Mrs. Bonnie, for you know where she has gone.  May the Lord bless and sustain you in your hour of bereavement and in the days, weeks and months ahead.  Forgive me for the long post, but as God's servant, He laid these words on my heart to share with the family, both immediate and extended, for any dog lover feels an immediate bond and sense of family with these wonderful "eccentric" people.  We should all be so blessed as to have a level of that kind of eccentricity in our lives.

I HAVE RECENTALLY READ THE HEADLINES ABOUT THIS TERRIBLE TORNADO THAT HAS TAKEN A DEAR FRIEND TO MANY PEOPLE. MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS THAT WERE LUCKY ENOUGH TO KNOW THIS WOMAN. I SADDLY DID NOT GET TO MEET HER. AS I LOOK THROUGHT THIS WEBSITE I CAN SEE THAT BONNIE WAS A VERY SPECIAL PERSON TO PEOPLE AND ANIMALS. TO ME SHE IS A HERO!! AND AS I AM WRITING THIS I DO PRAY FOR HER HUSBAND MIKE TO GET WELL AND I PRAY FOR THE ANIMALS THAT SURVIVED TO BE OK TOO. GOD BLESS YOU, BONNIE WE KNOW THAT YOU ARE LOOKING DOWN ON EVERYONE AND YOU WILL BE TRULY MISSED. GOOD BYE FOR NOW BUT NOT FOREVER!!  ERIKA  BREWERTON, NY

What a treasure there is the world. Bonnie and Mike helped each other share their gifts with so many. God bless Mike as he recovers and carries on the legacy of a true saint. May animals everywhere be enveloped with caring such as Bonnie and Mike gave them. May our "eccentric" selves make a difference in the world like Bonnie did.
