50's Guyatone - Custom Kraft Electric
50’s Custom Kraft Model 1830 – Guyatone LG-70 Electric Guitar
This is a rare 1950’s Custom Kraft Electric Guitar Model 1830 in sunburst and completely original. It’s virtually identical to the Guyatone LG-70. This guitar’s neck is set and has a soft ‘V” shape with no truss rod, typical of 1950’s Japanese guitars. The electronics are housed under a metal pickguard shaped control plate that sits above the body. Both single coil pickups and controls are clean and functioning well. There are a few small scrapes and nicks throughout this guitar with one scrape on the face horizontal to the bridge and a few finish nicks at the edges of the face and back. The neck is very straight and healthy with no finish wear and a few minor dents. The fingerboard is clean and straight with some light fret wear. Three of the block inlays are slightly worn at one edge. The headstock has some minor dings as well and one small nick in the finish. We consider this guitar to be in excellent condition. It will ship in a new Levy’s gigbag (worth $35.00) | Album by Daniel Wollock. Photos by The Lovely Light. 1 - 4 of 4 Total. 0 Visits. |
