2004 GIBSON LES PAUL STANDARD Flame top.. 22 thin fret, 60's neck. Beautiful “Cayenne”, a Transparent Candy–apple flame top finish. It looks great. Single cut. Stop Tailpiece, tune-o-matic bridge. Passive Burstbucker H/H pickups are pretty hot. Vintage style Kluson keystone tuners with puch-in bushings. solid maple, bound,book- matched top on one piece solid mahogany body. This guitar is in spectacular condition. There are no belt buckle, jeans rivet, or shirt button marks. It comes with the original textured Gibson hardshell case with the combo-lock. The combination lock has never been set (still has the red plastic insert) and the case is also in very nice condition. this guitar looks virtually un-played. It is a Les Paul Standard with beautiful, yet not ostentatious, tiger-stripe grain pattern in the book-matched top. It has the crème top and neck binding, the crème pickup surrounds …matching plated Schaller tune-o-matic bridge and stop tailpiece. It has a rosewood fret-board with 9 trapezoidal inlays, four gold knobs and a three-position Rhythm/Treble selector. The ONE piece back and the ONE piece neck are uniform red stain. The 2004 Gibson Les Paul standard sports the smaller, vintage style headstock and keystone tuner buttons and is available with a fat, rounded '50s style neck or a fast, slim taper 60s style neck. The Gibson Les Paul Standard is outfitted with the burst bucker PRO pickups with alnico v magnets producing the most authentic, vintage Les Paul tone of any previous standard pickups. They produce more bite and a seductive airy tone with both pickups on.
